Licensing and cancellation

The 7-day trial is the whole app with no card, so you can decide with your own clipboard before you pay. Purchases are not refundable.
Do I need to pay to find out what I would get?
No. Every install starts with a full 7-day trial: unlimited history, screenshot OCR, snippets, everything. No account and no card. Use it on your real work, and if it has not earned its place by day seven, delete it and you have paid nothing.
No refunds
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, “buy then return” windows, or refunds for unused time on a subscription. That is why the trial comes first and is not cut down: you can evaluate SnipVault completely before checkout. Once you buy, the sale is complete.
Exception: if a payment was charged in error, such as a duplicate charge, or a licence key was never delivered because of a processor failure, email diljit@dprsoftwarelabs.com with your order reference. Those are billing corrections, not product refunds, and are always put right.
Cancelling a subscription
Monthly ($2.49) and Annual ($29.99) plans renew automatically. Cancel any time from the manage-subscription link in your purchase email or receipt, or email us and we will do it. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your licence keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for; there is no refund for the remainder of that period, and a renewal that has already been charged is final.
Lifetime
Lifetime ($79) is one payment. It never renews and never expires, and it includes every future update. Like every other plan, it is final once bought.
What happens to your data
A cancellation or a lapsed subscription deactivates the licence key. The app returns to its locked state, and nothing on your Mac is deleted. Your history, snippets, and pinboards stay in the vault and are readable again with any valid licence, and you can export the vault from Settings at any time, licensed or not.

How do I cancel a subscription?+

Will I be charged again automatically?+
Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal.
I forgot to cancel and was charged for another period. Can that be refunded?+
No. Renewals are final. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the paid period ends.
What happens to my clipboard history if I cancel?+
Nothing is deleted. When the licence lapses the app locks, and everything you captured is there again the moment you activate a licence. You can also export your vault from Settings at any time.
Can I move a licence to a new Mac?+
Yes. Deactivate it on the old Mac in Settings, or just activate on the new one; one key works on up to three Macs at a time.
Who is the merchant on my statement?+
Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record for the sale and handles tax. The software itself is published by DPR Software Labs OPC Private Limited.
